Alone with God

“Are you weak? Weary? Confused? Troubled? Pressured? How is your relationship with God? Is it held in its place of priority? I believe the greater the pressure, the greater your need for time alone with Him.”

Kay Arthur

Questions:

I like the above questions and I will use them.

My response:
I am weak when I try to do things by myself and do not rely on God for His strength. I and weary when I find myself not resting in the Lord. I am confused and troubled when I do not seek advice from God. I am pressured when I am falsely enticed by the enemy.

  1. Miriam,
I agree with you! Why do you think it is so difficult for us to forward hurtful things to God? Why do we feel like we need to hold on when pain instead of joy is returned?

  2. I agree with your response and add:
I am worried when I don’t trust in the Lord.

As per the forgiveness issue, I think it is better to forgive and forget by forwarding the hurtful thing to God for Him to repay and avenge you.
