Letting Him Know

“God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will, a will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to.”

Elisabeth Elliot

Questions:

1. Do you believe God is worthy of your trust and obedience?

2. If so, how do you let Him know ?

3. Do you find security in God’s Word?

  1. Lawrence,
What powerful verses can you share with us to help us not resist allowing God to work through us?

  2. I would rather put my trust in God than myself, as far as running my own life. I’ve tried being “the boss” & it I haven’t done so well. With that said my obedience really needs to follow. I would love to sit here and say that I’m always obedient but, I’d be lying. You’d all be able to tell I was lying too, because I suck at it.

Whenever I’m lost or uncertain (which is always ha, ha), I leave it up to Him. Basically, that means I don’t run my own life, He does, and I’m glad. I feel much more secure knowing He’s running the show. He knows alot better than I do. Like I said though, I just need to work on not resisting so much. Just something else I need prayer on but that’s okay, because He likes it when we call on Him.
