Walking in Truth

“The true follower of Christ will not ask, “If I embrace this truth, what will it cost me?” Rather he will say, “This is truth. God help me to walk in it, let come what may!”

A. W. Tozer

Questions:
 1. Have you asked God to help you get through whatever you are going through right now?

2. Do you believe that even if you fall once more, God will be there to raise you up once again?

  1. Brianna,
Isn’t an incredible feeling when you begin to see why God placed certain people or things in your life?

I cannot wait to hear how God works through you.

May you be blessed beyond your wildest dreams!

  2. Yes, I have asked God many times recently to help get me through what I am going through. I am now seeing His amazing plan that He has for me much more clearly. He got me out of a toxic situation in school and I felt lost. However, He has given me new hope for the future. I feel that if I fall in the future, which is inevitable since I am only human, He will definitely pick me up again. He has been doing so my whole life! 😀

  3. Mish is right Bill; if you would’ve “thrown in the towel,” I never would have been able to read your post. If you knew what I had to deal with everyday, you’d know why I feel the same way. That’s part of why God brings His children together. By you expressing similar thoughts, I know I’m not the only one.

I’m glad to be reminded to stay strong in faith. I wish everyone who comes across this website and reads it would share their thoughts. Do you all understand how much strength we’d all develop as a church (because that’s what we are i.e. where two or more are gathered…….).

  4. Lawrence,
I was told that God never gets tired of hearing from us because we are building our relationship with Him by sharing ourselves. I love the quote at the end of your comment because God is never late.

  5. Bill,
We all appreciate you not throwing the towel in. God’s working through you in amazing ways! Thanks for your strength.

  6. If I didn’t believe God would pick me back up I would be in really deep horse doodoo right now. In fact, I would just throw in the towel and surrender to despair. I am eternally grateful for a God who gives more than just second chances.

  7. I’ve most definitely asked God for help recently. In fact, I do it maybe too often. The good is I know that even if I don’t get things right the first time that He’s always there as the best teacher ever. It’s kind of like one of my favorite artists once said: God may not come when you call but, He’s ALWAYS on time.
