Waiting for God

“Biblically, waiting is not just something we have to do until we get what we want. Waiting is part of the process of becoming what God wants us to be.”

John Ortberg

Questions:

1. What is the hardest part about waiting?

2. What incentive do you have to develop patience?

3. How do you remain patient when confronted by demanding circumstances?

  1. I like it too for the same reasons. Instead of saying “I need to wait…”, I can say “We need to wait.” The we stands for God and me because we are in this together. Thanks Bill.

  2. I like this quote Misha. Takes away the improper attitude that often creeps in when waiting. Also helps get rid of the pouting that also appears when waiting is getting too long.
