Patiently Enduring

“What then are we to do about our problems? We must learn to live with them until such time as God delivers us from them…we must pray for grace to endure them without murmuring. Problems patiently endured will work for our spiritual perfecting. They harm us only when we resist them or endure them unwillingly.”

A. W. Tozer

Questions:

1. Why are the problems in our lives blessings in disguise?

  1. Thank you, Misha. I’m so inspired by you, too, and your ministry to others. You’re the best!

  2. Shelley,
I am inspired by your rock solid faith! I love that in the midst of complete pain or ruin, you still praise the Lord. Thank you for being such a fine example of a true Christian woman!

  3. This quote about “patiently enduring” really spoke to me. My husband and I have been married two years this month, but already have endured much: the loss of our home in a fire and our child being diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. However, we have so many blessings. I thank the Lord each day for our five beautiful children between us and that the Lord has blessed me with such a Godly husband. God uses these trials to teach us something more and to build our faith in HIM.
