Time to Pray

“You can use your time to no better advantage than to pray whenever you have a moment, either alone, or with others, while at work, at rest, or walking down the street! Anywhere!!”

Ole Kristian O. Hallesby

Questions:

  1. When do you bow your head to the Lord in prayer?
  2. Is there a “right” time to pray?

  1. I pray many times at night before I go to sleep. I also pray when I am walking in nature because I find it peaceful. I don’t think there is a “right” time to pray. If you feel called to pray I agree with the quote and pray at any time during your day. God is always here for you. 🙂

  2. I bow my head when others pray, as in grace before meals, at church. Otherwise, I talk to God all day long, in my car, as I do dishes, while I am writing on my blogs, during housework, as I do my hair, and when I am cooking. I don’t pray like a normal person I guess. But then I’m not very normal.

Thanks so much for your prayers, Michelle.

  3. I usually have trouble multi-tasking. In fact, I don’t. I had neck surgery last week and all I can do right now for exercise during recovery is riding the stationary bike at the Y. I am using that boring time on the bike to pray through my prayer list. I use a Moleskine (moleskine.com) and wrote the list on a sheet of paper that I carry with me. It has been helpful in more ways than one. I can agree with Ole. (is that pronounce Ole like Mexican?) 🙂
