The Devil’s Concern

“The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work, and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.”

Samuel Chadwick

  1. What happens to your life when it is driven by prayer?
  2. What steps do you take to keep the enemy as far away from you as possible?

  1. I agree with both of you. As mentioned before, I love my husband’s license plate that reads “Fight like a man and get on your knees”
The power of prayer is amazing!

  2. I know that when I don’t pray I get incredible anxiety about what I can’t control. I have to realize that God has the control and I shouldn’t try to do everything by myself.

  3. Chadwick is right on the money. The enemy laughs at the Christian who does not pray but rather thinks he can accomplish God’s work on and in his own strength.
