Boundless Confidence

“It matters little what form of prayer we adopt or how many words we use. What matters is the faith which lays hold on God, knowing that He knows our needs before we even ask Him. That is what gives Christian prayer its boundless confidence and its joyous certainty.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Questions:

  1. What happens when doubt contaminates a prayer?
  2. How do you remain confident that God will answer even your toughest prayers?

  1. Dear Shelbie,
Thank you for your kind words and AWESOME story. My husband took a chance on loving me into the Kingdom about 5 years ago. Although, I truly felt God when I was in the hospital undergoing my third heart surgery (ablation). Yuck! I remember realizing that even though I was physically alone, tied down, and seemingly helpless, I was not spiritually alone. I felt God’s warm embrace and from that point on was determined to help other feel His love.

I look forward to hearing what you write on my blog in the future. I am sure you will inspire many!

    God bless.

well, i came to know Christ when i was only 5 [along with my twin.] i was baptized the next week. i grew up in Church, there was no question weather we would go or not. at age 7, we moved to the Church that were at now. ive grown A LOT. my grandmother first inspired me to spread the word and then i entered youth. at about age 10 i started spreading Gods word to my fellow students and my dad [he never goes to Church]. i taker my bibles to school [my red on [fob] and my old black one [elder.] i write notes to help explain the bible and help my friends [to God be the glory.] ive had many wonderful experiences. a five hour bible study with my brothers and cousin, my sister in Christ pulled out of her depression, and of course A LOT of prayers answered.

now its your turn to share.
