How do remain patient when the actions of your loved ones are less than desirable?

    I couldn’t agree with you more! Although implementing the Golden Rule is not always easy, it is crucial to adhere to this rule. Thank you for your input.


  2. For me, it’s about the Golden Rule. I want my wife to be patient with me and my shortcomings, so I need to treat her the same way I want to be treated when dealing with her shortcomings. To me, those times are opportunities for me to invest in our relationship. It’s not always easy, but it’s well worth the effort.

    Even when it feels like it doesn’t level out and I’m giving more than I get, I try and remember that Jesus gave more than he got back, and that He said that we will be forgiven in the same measure that we forgive others. So it doesn’t really change my responsibility.
