In October, I had the privilege of attending a conference called the Alive Bible Summit. Much to my surprise, I was the youngest person there; the average age must have 75 years old. Looking back, it’s funny how God works through us because over the course of three days I established many special friendships. The seniors were definitely “Alive” in their love for God and desire to minister. However, many of them expressed frustration at not feeling needed in their churches as well as a fear of not having enough time to do God’s work. I was very moved by their comments and I wanted to create a forum where people of all ages and stages could connect and strengthen one another in Christ.
